Berkshire Area Group - Layouts
While the aim of our club is the development of a layout for members to operate their trains, the Berkshire Area Group is also able to exhibit this creation for the enjoyment of others. The full layout consists of a continuous or 'tale chaser' 4 track mainline with a 10-road scenic fiddle yard. Details and images of the various modules that can be plugged together to create various size set-ups can be seen on the Layouts page of this site.

Paddock Hill

Originally developed by the late Dave Benham, and kindly donated to the Club by his family. Now fully restored to its operational potential, this layout is available for exhibitions, details can be found here: Paddock_Hill_description.pdf

Langley Oil Depot

Developed by the clubs previous Treasurer Graham Godfrey, this layout was originalled developed as modules for the main club layout as detailed on the left. However, Graham sought to operate his layout at home, and thus constructed additional sections that allow it to be completely self standing.
